Road / Gravel / eRoad Bike Guide
Fast. Lightweight. Fun.
Do you find yourself looking at photos of carbon fiber? Do you dream of getting on top of that carbon fiber and riding it down the bumpy roads of Ontario for hours on end? Do those hours of pain and effort that add up to going faster and farther excite you?
Here is a list of road / gravel bikes and stuff that you will need for your punishment session!
Performance Bikes
If sleek and fast is your style, a race-oriented road bike will keep you in a low, powerful position, out of the wind, and ahead of the pack. We have everything from affordable aluminum models to world class carbon fiber bikes ready for you to test ride.

Gravel Bikes
Do you have a penchant for exploring roads less-traveled? Follow your heart down dirt and gravel roads with a road bike designed for longer rides. Gravel bikes generally accept wider tires for improved traction and comfort on less-than-pristine surfaces.

Electric Road & Gravel Bikes
Looking to go a little farther? Take the edge off those hills? We have some stealthy eRoad and eGravel bikes that will encourage you to ride more often.
You won't believe how light an ebike can get!

Helmets
Helmets keep your head cool and comfortable while also providing protection and aerodynamics
Apparel
Real riders need a real kit - a jersey, shorts, socks, gloves, and some glasses all keep you cool and fast
Pedals
Road bikes generally don't include pedals, you may want to start with flat pedals and graduate to clipless pedals later
Shoes
If you opted to start with flat pedals, you might like some nice grippy shoes to match. Otherwise, clipless shoes will help secure your feet for better power delivery
Hydration
Staying hydrated is important to keep your body running at peak performance. You should consume about 500ml of water / hr
Tools
A multi tool, tire levers, a tube, a tire inflation device (pump or CO2) are all a must so you don't get stranded on the open road
