It’s held securely by a stable three-point attachment system, ensuring maximum comfort. The all-weather fabric offers unparalleled resistance to abrasion and tears, and it’s also simple to pack down. There’s a bungee cord for spare clothing, while reflective graphics and two light attachment points mean that there’s no need to compromise on safety. The roll-down compression and closure system mean the Pack’s volume can be tailored precisely to fit a range of packing needs. The Backcountry Saddle Pack is made from Dimension-Polyant VX21, a four-layer laminated fabric originally developed for the maritime industry. Designed to fit the demands of off-road riding, the material combines waterproofing, light weight, low stretch, and high abrasion and tear resistance. The base of the Saddle Pack and Velcro straps are reinforced with Hypalon, a durable rubberized nylon that provides extra protection against friction and puncture. For the compression straps, Woojin buckles have been chosen for their strength and reliability. A lightweight molded section of HDPE thermoplastic sits in the lower section of the Saddle Pack to reinforce its structure.

The Expedition Saddle Pack is lightweight, waterproof, and provides a spacious compartment under the saddle, eliminating the need for a rear rack. It’s designed to hold clothes and equipment on long distance rides. Built from a lightweight laminate developed specifically for Apidura, the Pack is highly resistant to abrasions and tears. The seams have been welded together, creating a waterproof seal that ensures contents always stay dry, even in sustained rain. A three-point attachment system with Hypalon-reinforced Velcro straps allows the Pack to hug the seat post, increasing stability and cutting down on lateral movement. Additional Hypalon on the Pack’s body keeps frames in good condition. The roll-down compression and closure system means the Pack’s volume can be tailored precisely to fit a range of packing needs. Materials The Expedition Saddle Pack is cut from a three-layer laminate fabric that was developed specifically for us. The material is lightweight, and is highly resistant to tears and abrasion. Notably, it’s welded together at the seams, creating a watertight seal that ensures complete waterproofing. The Pack’s attachment points are reinforced with Hypalon, a rubberized nylon used to provide extra protection against friction and abrasion. For the straps, Woojin buckles have been chosen for their strength and reliability. Finally, a lightweight moulded section of HDPE thermoplastic sits in the Pack’s lower section to reinforce its structure.

We developed our Outpost Elite Universal Seat Pack (USP) to work with dropper or standard seatposts, be able to carry a bevy of cargo, and be stable enough to not swing around while it does. The USP is a two-part system: Part 1 is a T6061 Alloy Wing that affixes to your saddle and works with a standard or dropper post. Part 2 is a removable and waterproof dry bag. The bag has a scuba-style air bleed valve to assist with compression while off the bike. The wing stays on the bike, the bag comes off and allows you to pack, compress and go ride in the snap of a few buckles. Dropper Compatible Designed to not only stabilize your seatpack, but also work with or without dropper posts. The t6061 aluminum wing bolts to your seat rails for a rock solid mount. Get the perfect cargo fit for the roughest trails. Harness System This bag features a system that is comprised of an outer "Harness" that securely carries an inner bag. The inner bag can quickly and easily be removed from harness, without having to detach the harness from the bike. The advantage is that is saves time, is more secure and allows you to carry odd/oversized items or use your favorite aftermarket bags. Bleed Valve The waterproof dry bag features a scuba style air bleed valve so that you can pack your bag as tight as you need, and not have to worry about leaks. Welded Seam Construction Welded seams not only reduce bulk, weight and materials, they improve performance by eliminating the needle hole, a potential area for saturation and leakage. Welded seams also create a clean finish on both the interior and exterior of the bag.
